About

Who is Guacamole Greetings.......

Hi, my name is Irma Vargas. I was born in East Los Angeles, California and I am the youngest of eleven children, whose parents immigrated from Mexico in the 1920's.

As an American of Mexican descent, I always loved having the ability to speak both English and Spanish and to transition from one to the other when speaking with family and friends and even combining them into the popular phraseology known as spanglish. It was natural, normal and accepted.

When I grew up there were limited types of cards that I found to represent me. The me that was born in the United States but whose family had traditions and roots embedded in the richness of the old country.

I thought about what I would love to send friends, family and others and I founded Guacamole Greetings to do what I was raised to do. Love who I am as an American of Mexican descent and share it with others.........Latinos are a kaleidoscope of things....I hope you find yourself in these cards and that you share them with others that you care about.....saying it with sabor is always the way to do it.

As a way to give back to the community that I was raised in and that my children were a part of, I have established an educational non-profit which provides scholarships to students. Please visit our website at www.victory1hundred.org to see what 25% of your purchase helps to fund.  I say gracias in advance for your consideration.
